Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between Economy, Economy+, and Standard cowboy hats?

Our Economy Cowboy Hat is designed for high-volume merchandise, promotions, giveaways, and events where keeping the cost per hat low is the priority. Economy hats are made from pressed polyester, are one size fits most and nonadjustable, and use a non-shapeable ribbon brim. They are lightweight promotional hats designed to put your branding on as many heads as possible.

Economy+ uses the same promotional hat construction but gives customers access to additional color and branding options.

Our Standard Cowboy Hat is our merchandise-grade option. It is made from polyester felt, which is softer to the touch and feels more substantial, durable, and higher quality than the pressed polyester used on Economy hats. Standard hats also feature an adjustable sizing string, multiple sizes, decorative hatbands, additional branding methods, and a millinery-wire brim that can be shaped and reshaped by hand.

Can the brim on the Standard hat be shaped?

Yes. Standard hats use a millinery-wire brim, allowing the wearer to reshape the brim by hand.

The sides can be turned upward, flattened, or adjusted into a more traditional Western profile depending on the wearer's preference. The wire helps the brim hold the selected shape while allowing it to be reshaped later.

Economy hats use a non-shapeable ribbon brim and are intended to retain their factory shape.

How much do custom cowboy hats cost?

Pricing depends primarily on the hat, quantity, and Economy color category.

Can I start with a smaller order?

Yes. You can start with as few as 50 hats.

A smaller order can be used to evaluate the product, see your branding in person, test customer demand, run a limited promotion, or determine whether a larger recurring hat program makes sense for your business.

Our volume pricing rewards larger orders, so the price per hat decreases substantially as quantities increase.

Is shipping really free?

Yes. Standard shipping is included in our advertised hat pricing, so there is no additional standard shipping charge added to your order.

How long will my order take?

Economy orders generally take approximately 8–12 weeks from final design approval to delivery.

Standard orders generally take approximately 10–12 weeks from final design approval to delivery.

Actual timing may vary depending on order quantity, customization method, artwork approval, production schedules, shipping conditions, and other order-specific requirements.

If you need hats for a particular concert, promotion, opening, festival, or other deadline, contact us before ordering so we can discuss your timeline.

What sizes are available?

Economy hats are one size fits most and are nonadjustable.

Standard hats are currently available in:

  • 57 cm

  • 59 cm

  • 61 cm

Standard hats also include an adjustable sizing string for additional fit adjustment.

Is the online hat designer an exact representation of the finished product?

No. The online designer is a visualization tool intended to help you preview your hat color, logo, placement, size, quantity, and approximate finished appearance.

Screen colors, logo scale, positioning, and other details may vary slightly from the physical product.

Final production artwork and applicable colors are confirmed before manufacturing begins.

What should a bar charge customers for the hats?

For bars and nightlife venues, we generally recommend pricing economy cowboy hats somewhere between the price of a typical single mixed drink and a double mixed drink at that venue. For standard hats, we recommend between $15-$25

We generally do not recommend pricing the economy hat above the cost of a typical double.

The goal is to keep the hat within a familiar impulse-purchase range while allowing the venue to recover some or all of its promotional cost.
